May Travels

Rebecca had a brunch for her JMU nursing Bible study group.

Autumn and I had a wonderful visit with my nephew Jeremy Yoder and his family before we took off for Canada.

One night we went to The Blue Stone Inn for supper.  It is a unique restaurant and has a wonderful atmosphere.  Abe ordered a roasted duck and said it was the best duck he ever had.....the only duck he ever had.-

Dryden Quilters in Canada who made "Pinwheel Pizzazz".
I always like to see how different the color combinations are for the same pattern.

Eating with quilting friends in Rockville, MD.

Susan was a wonderful host for Autumn and I while we stayed in Rockville.

From Rockville, Maryland, Autumn and I flew to see Parla, Dave and Brighton.

Autumn's dream machine.

Brighton on her dream car.

Parla making whoopie pies for a fund raiser.

Autumn and I filling the cookies and wrapping them.

We ate Sunday lunch with Matt and Dianna. It was so good to see these Canadians again.

"Over Lapping Stars" was the class I taught in Red Lake, Canada.

Sue used a stack and whack method for making some of her stars.

It was fun to see the table runners come together.

Dave taking a picture of Parla on Mothers Day.

I was so glad to spend my mothers day with 2 of my girls and Brighton.

My 10 day trip went way too fast.  And you can see that this Mummsy loved every minute being with her granddaughter.

Home for one day then to Hilton Head SC, and Savannah GA for more quilt classes.

Rhea took the "Star Tricks" class.  She told me she had made the quilt "Star Shuffle" that is pictured on the front of my book "Simply Triangles".  She did a fantastic job and she also hand quilted it.
