END OF SUMMER

This week Melissa (Benjamin's fiance) came from Iowa and moved in with our family.  Benjamin moved in with Granddaddys who live next door.  Their wedding date is April 21.

This past week I painted the back porch and hung a new quilt up.  Such a good feeling.

An evening in Canada.

So glad these two cousins joined us in Canada.  They really made our trip exciting.

This weekend was our church camp out at Highland.  Katrina Rhodes loves any animal that exists.

Helen (Good) Brunk making mountain pies.

Amos Horst making a dessert mountain pie.  Yummy!

Terry and Abe throwing corn hole.

Grandaddy and Autumn throwing horse shoe.

Back home again. Salmon for supper with our Rittenhouse friends.

This scrappy string quilt "Lets Have a Picnic" I pieced for the Mennonite Relief Sale.

"Star Ripple" will also be sold at the relief sale along with my book "Star Struck Quilts".  This quilt is in the book.

THIS AND THAT

This past weekend Terry and I took a load of Old Order Mennonites to PA to a Auction.  On Sunday we joined our friends and went to their church.  Terry got to ride a buggy to church.  Wish I had a picture.

Sister and brother chatting.

One of my favorite spots.  Rebecca made me this delicious latte.
