Grandchild #8 will be coming in October.
This Grandmom (Me) is smiling from ear to ear.

We had a delightful supper and evening with some of the uncles, aunts and first cousins on my Father's side of the family.

A 10 day trip to Israel
I got to ride this lummox.

Half of our group was from Virginia and most of the
 other half was from Oregon.

Terry and I at a waterfalls close to where some
of the Dead Sea Scrolls were found.

Dale and Shirley were our tour guides from the US. In the background is the ruins of Capernium.

Beth She'an was one of my favorite places. It has 20 layers
of ruins and was a city during King David and King Solomon.

 MY LIFE AS A QUILTER
I have been traveling and teaching quilting quite a bit lately. Her is the Warsaw VA Quilt guild where I gave a quilt presentation.

 My new pattern COOKIE CUTTER.

Here is another version of the COOKIE CUTTER.  I appliqued a zigzag strip to two of the edge corners and used three fabrics instead of many fabrics.

In this quilt I was playing with triangles and 1" strips.
I also was using up fabric scraps.
