Life and Quilting

A field of sunflowers that I pass on the van route.

This is what happens when you turn your camera loose to children on the van.

What a treat to be with my two sisters and brother-in-law.
Mother fixed our lunch.

Mother, my sister June, and I spent an evening listening to a gentlemen play tones on glass goblets.  He would play six at one time and have such harmony.

"Spinner" a new pattern coming.

 Close up of the quilting.

"Overlapping Star" another new pattern.  Features in table runner are stacking layers and cutting them out, working with strips.  This is just triangles sewed together in rows and then the rows sewed together.

  1. What glorious sunflowers! Spinner looks perfect; no surprise. Overlapping stars looks perfect, too.

  2. I saw a man playing glasses last weekend... I was so afraid someone was going to knock over his table (he was in the street and there was quite a crowd)! No water, you're out of luck! We bought his CD - the baby loves it, and so does my husband :)
