My father and I always go to the German church service at our local Lutheran church (we're Episcopalian, but he was brought up Lutheran, and I'm fluent in German), while my sister and mother go to the kids' service at our regular church (heh - Christmas is the one time we *don't* go to church together!). It's really the one thing I always do with just my father. But this year we have the baby... who may not want to go!
