Quilt Classes and More

As a Quilter
This weekend I went to Blue Ride Ga to give a lecture on "Designing Inside of Different Block Layouts" and to teach the quilt class Daisy table runner.

Explaining the overlays.

These ladies are drawing daises on double sided
 fusible web for appliqueing later.

Janet was my wonderful host.  Thanks Jerry
and Janet for a wonderful time.

While waiting for my flight at the airport I about froze.
I realized I had one of my quilts in my carry on suit
case so I covered up with it.

As a Mom
Here are a few products of our pottery class that
Autumn and I took the last 8 weeks.

Life
Uncle Joe from Montana is in so we had the Cline family over.  The best part of a meal is listening to stories around the
table while drinking coffee and eating candy.

A fun day out with some Patchwork Plus gals.
Darlene, Shirley, Linda and Katie.

  1. Barbara I love that picture of you and Autumn. Don't you just love that we just keep on learning new things in life. I just read a quote yesterday that said, "When we quit learning, we quit leading." Loved the picture of you cuddled under that quilt at the airport. Now who did you get to take it since you were flying alone? You're getting brave.

  3. Barbara! I absolutely LOVE that pottery! And the picture of both of you smiling and showing your accomplishments is just perfect! There's no telling the price on all those pieces at a shop!

I bet folks around the airport who saw you cuddled in your quilt just loved seeing a quilt being used! Good for you! You added a bright spot I'm sure.

And the luncheon with the Patchwork ladies...It was good to see some familiar faces. I know you all had a good time! I don't recognize the place but looks nice.

    Enjoyed your post!
