Quilts In Progress

My quilt "Nebula" is almost completed

Here is a close up picture of the quilting in "Nebula".

Here I am saftey pin basting a quilt I finished piecing of Terry's (husband) great, great aunt.  The pieces of this quilt were cut out and placed in a box and later sold at a family auction.  Terry's cousin bought the box of pieces and years latter saw she would never finish the quilt.   She gave it to us hoping some day it would get finished. Now it is pieced and I am ready to hand quilt it.

I need a name for this quilt that I just put the binding on.
  Any suggestions?

March

So happy Autumn is home. She was in Germany
with YWAM (Youth with a Mission) for the past 6 months.

She has already dived into piecing a scrappy quilt.

Autumn and I spent the day at Mother's.

Here Mother is learning a new new technique, machine quilting.  How spunky is that for an 88 year old lady? Notice the picture in the background.

This is an oil painting Mother painted on the wall of our home when I was a little girl.  I was always so proud to tell my friends that my Mother painted it.

A delicious meal at Benjamin and Melissa's.

A van load of Weaver's and Cline's heading to a.....

.... UVA basketball game!

When the children were little our two families occasionally went to UVA games together. A great evening of bringing back old memories.

While the snow flakes fell we played games.

Nathan Zirkle learning how to make doughnuts.

One day I went to Linda's for a sewing day.

Heidi looks so sweet in her first garment.
