My third book has arrived.  This quilting book is called "Diamond Chain Quilts".

The release date is August. To order "Diamond Chain Quilts" email me at tbcline7@gmail.com or call me at 540-383-5496.

I work with Lynita and Linda at Patchwork Plus.  This is at Lynita's bridal shower.

Katie Bopp pieced this large "Ivy Spangle Banner" quilt for an opportunity quilt for the Friendship Quilters of Linthicum guild.  Here we are together with my 48" x 48" and her queen size quilt. Go to http://www.friendshipquiltersoflinthicum.org/index.htm to purchase tickets for the large raffle quilt.

I am making my dazzling dasies quilt into a table runner.

My sister Emily and I spent the day at Mother's sewing.  She bought this quilt top at an auction and is in the process of getting it ready to hand quilt.

May Travels

Rebecca had a brunch for her JMU nursing Bible study group.

Autumn and I had a wonderful visit with my nephew Jeremy Yoder and his family before we took off for Canada.

One night we went to The Blue Stone Inn for supper.  It is a unique restaurant and has a wonderful atmosphere.  Abe ordered a roasted duck and said it was the best duck he ever had.....the only duck he ever had.-

Dryden Quilters in Canada who made "Pinwheel Pizzazz".
I always like to see how different the color combinations are for the same pattern.

Eating with quilting friends in Rockville, MD.

Susan was a wonderful host for Autumn and I while we stayed in Rockville.

From Rockville, Maryland, Autumn and I flew to see Parla, Dave and Brighton.

Autumn's dream machine.

Brighton on her dream car.

Parla making whoopie pies for a fund raiser.

Autumn and I filling the cookies and wrapping them.

We ate Sunday lunch with Matt and Dianna. It was so good to see these Canadians again.

"Over Lapping Stars" was the class I taught in Red Lake, Canada.

Sue used a stack and whack method for making some of her stars.

It was fun to see the table runners come together.

Dave taking a picture of Parla on Mothers Day.

I was so glad to spend my mothers day with 2 of my girls and Brighton.

My 10 day trip went way too fast.  And you can see that this Mummsy loved every minute being with her granddaughter.

Home for one day then to Hilton Head SC, and Savannah GA for more quilt classes.

Rhea took the "Star Tricks" class.  She told me she had made the quilt "Star Shuffle" that is pictured on the front of my book "Simply Triangles".  She did a fantastic job and she also hand quilted it.

"Yankee Doodle""

I am privileged to have my block  in  Quiltmaker 100 Blocks Vol. 7 http://www.quiltmaker.com/blogs/quiltypleasures/

Here is my block in the quilt "Yankee Doodle". This entire quilt uses only one block. This is the block that is featured in Quiltmaker 100 Blocks magazine.  Can you find the block?

Here is the block out lined in yellow.

The block

Create a triangle using strips of fabric.

Create another triangle with two strips and two diamonds.

Make a diamond chain and place it between the two triangle units.

This same block, arranged in a different way, also makes wonderful table runners

 or a wall quilt.

Quilts In Progress

My quilt "Nebula" is almost completed

Here is a close up picture of the quilting in "Nebula".

Here I am saftey pin basting a quilt I finished piecing of Terry's (husband) great, great aunt.  The pieces of this quilt were cut out and placed in a box and later sold at a family auction.  Terry's cousin bought the box of pieces and years latter saw she would never finish the quilt.   She gave it to us hoping some day it would get finished. Now it is pieced and I am ready to hand quilt it.

I need a name for this quilt that I just put the binding on.
  Any suggestions?
